Edgecliff Day is a once-a-year event that provides current and prospective families with a vibrant showcase of all that the School has to offer.
On Friday 15 August Edgecliff Preparatory School hosted their open day, known as Edgecliff Day. The day offered a comprehensive insight into the breadth of opportunities available to pupils and the strength of our school community. The day was well attended by current families and prospective visitors.
A wide range of pupil-led presentations took place in the RW Billing Hall, including music performances, debates, poetry recitals, and demonstrations in taekwondo and fencing. A hip hop performance also added a contemporary flair to the programme.
Classroom Teachers also facilitated interactive lessons, allowing parents to participate alongside their sons. These sessions highlighted the collaborative and stimulating nature of teaching and learning across all year levels.
Throughout the day, refreshments were available from the cake stall, coffee cart, and barbecue. Fortunately, the weather held and the barbecue was enjoyed under beautiful sunshine by the Weigall oval. The barbecue in particular drew praise with some declaring it the finest in the Eastern Suburbs!
