Old Sydneians continue to reunite and rekindle their friendships, forged during their school years at Grammar.

 

Back to Weigall

Day The ‘Back to Weigall Day’ took place on Saturday 22 July with the School competing against Shore in rugby and The Scots College in football. Both First XI and First XV teams lost narrowly in front of many interested Old Sydneians.

Class of 1967 (Delayed)

55-year Reunion on 28 April at The Royal Yacht Squadron, Kirribilli. Some of this group also visited St Ives Preparatory School on 27 April, where this photo was taken.

35-year Reunion on 22 July at College Street

30-year Reunion on 4 August at College Street

Class of 1978

Seven 1978 Old Sydneians played in a band on 5 August at Paddington RSL. Representing the black and gold with pride were Alistair Johnson, Rob Carrick, Matt Hirst, Tom Hubble, Tim Lumsdaine, Rick McCullagh and a special guest star appearance by Craig Smith on Dragon’s hit song, April Sun in Cuba.

Gathering in California

On 3 August, there was a get-together of Old Sydneians in the Bay Area, San Francisco, USA. The convenors were Matt Rothschild (OS 1989) and Peter Tucker (OS 1981).
