Professional Opportunities at Sydney Grammar School

Sydney Grammar School is an independent non-denominational day school for boys. The secondary school (7-12) is located on College Street in the city of Sydney and the two preparatory schools are located at Edgecliff (K-Year 6) and St Ives (Pre-school-Year 6).

Sydney Grammar School is currently seeking well-qualified and motivated candidates for the following positions::

Science Master (Temporary)

Long Service Leave Cover (Term III 2021, or as soon as possible, to the end of Term I 2022)

A temporary position in our Science Department teaching Science will be available from Term III 2021 (commencement negotiable), to end of Term I 2022 due to long service leave cover.  The successful applicant will be legally permitted to work in Australia, and accredited with NESA. Ability to teach Stage 6 Physics, Biology or Earth and Environmental Science would be an advantage.  A willingness to participate fully in the life of the School, including its co-curricular and pastoral programs, is expected.

Payroll Officer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated payroll professional to join our team at Sydney Grammar School.

The purpose of this position is to provide high level support that contributes significantly to the ongoing development, deployment and maintenance of the School’s Payroll strategies, policies and practices and the effective and efficient oversight of the School’s risk and compliance management systems.

Edgecliff Preparatory: Sports Coaching

Boys in Years 3-6 participate in sporting teams and activities each week throughout the School year.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and committed coaches to work between 10 and 20 hours per week, including Saturday mornings.

No formal qualifications are necessary; however, it is mandatory to have current first aid certification and a Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.

Our focus is skill development, participation and to foster a love of sport across all codes including athletics, basketball, cricket, fencing, football, rugby and tennis.

St Ives Preparatory: Sport Coaching
