Science offers an opportunity to build on boys’ sense of wonder and curiosity in the world around them. At Edgecliff, Science is taught from Kindergarten to Year Six in a dedicated Science laboratory. This environment promotes the hands-on nature of the subject, allowing boys to learn through guided discovery and grow their understanding of the fields of physics, chemistry, geology, biology and digital technology, based on experience, evidence and reason. We aim to stimulate boys’ interests and passions in Science and give them authentic opportunities to think and work like scientists.
