Charter

The Friends of Grammar Rugby is an association of parents and friends of Sydney Grammar School who have a love of rugby and a belief in its value as a sport for schoolboys and as a focus of friendship in the School community.

The objects of the Friends are to support and encourage the Rugby programme at Grammar, and especially its players in the GPS competition, by the organisation of social events and by such other activities as are agreed between the Friends and the Headmaster.

The Friends recognise that Rugby is part of a wider School sports programme at Grammar and appreciates the value of all sports played by Grammar boys.

The Friends are committed to supporting the School and, in order to do this most effectively, will work with the Headmaster in pursuit of its objects and accept his guidance as to the specific initiatives they undertake.
