Academic Extension
There is an important distinction to be made between academic "acceleration" and "extension". At Grammar we do not permit accelerated progression through our courses, but rather have a policy of academic extension beyond the syllabus for boys who seek it.

Library
The library is named after 'Banjo' Paterson, one of the School's best known Old Boys (1875-1881).

Public Examination Results
Because nearly all our boys proceed directly to university after leaving school, the Universities Admissions Index (UAI) or the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) are for us the best indicators of overall HSC performance in a given year.
